"I Miss Drawing On My Eyebrows"

- Said No one Ever

Brows

At Luxe Ink Cosmetics we believe that it all starts with a beautiful shape! We take our time to properly measure, map and design the shape of the brow for each client based on the client’s bone structure and features, their existing brows and communicating with the client their desired outcome is the first essential step in creating a beautiful brow!

Types of Brows Styles

Your existing brows, your SKIN TYPE and your LIFESTYLE will ultimately dictate which style or technique will be best for you!
At your appointment, we will discuss in detail your options and confirm which style is best for you.

What To Expect

Each Brow appointment will generally take about 2.5 hours from start to finish, other than the Nano Stroke technique. This includes an in depth consultation, taking before and after pictures, numbing and the actual procedure. Topical Numbing is used to curb any pain. For most clients, it’s a very low level of pain involved. Some of my clients even fall asleep during the process. You do not need a consultation before your appointment.

Ombre Powder Brows

(Good for all skin types and ages)

$750 ($50 Deposit, $550 initial session, $150 finishing session 8-12 weeks later)

“ POWDER BROWS” is one of our most popular procedures!

Susan’s signature natural powder brow technique is a soft, airy natural brow that heals soft and natural with little to no down time and better healed results! Contrary to a “magic marker” look, powder brows are customizable for a soft, natural, airy and pixelated look. It’s preferred because it causes the least amount of trauma to the skin, lasts significantly longer and ages beautifully! Powder brows are beautiful for all skin types and are less harsh on the skin (no cutting) than traditional microblading. Powder brows can last anywhere from 1-4 years before needing a color boost.

Combo Brows (Hair Strokes and Shading)

(Good for most skin types)

$750 ($50 Deposit) $550 initial session, $150 finishing session 8-12 weeks later)

Combo Brows are a popular style or technique, it’s the best of both worlds. Hair strokes are usually created where the natural hair is lacking on the brow and the rest is shaded or filled in

with the pmu machine to create a more filled in or defined look. It is a more finished look than microblading alone.

Microblading

(NOT recommended for oily skin, large pores, mature skin or active lifestyles)

$750 ($50 Deposit $550 initial session, $150 finishing session)

Microblading is a semi-permanent technique for enhancing sparse brows to create the appearance of realistic fine hair strokes by using a sterile micro blade to deposit pigment into the skin. Microbladed hair strokes will last the least amount of time compared to other pmu techniques, usually about 12 months before needing a touch up. It’s important to note that not every client is a good candidate for microblading! We can discuss further at your consultation.

Machine Nano Strokes

(Especially good for clients with alopecia, very thin or sparse brows and normal/dry skin)

$800 ($50 Deposit, $600 initial session, $150 finishing session)

Machine Hair Strokes, aka (Nano Strokes) is the hottest trend and the new preferred method of creating hair strokes. It is an advanced technique and requires a lot of practice and skill to achieve realistic results. The artist uses a tattoo machine with a single needle to tattoo individual strokes to mimic hairs. Again, it is less invasive as cutting into the skin (microblading) causes less trauma.. It is a beautiful look and technique and requires more skill level.

Colour Boost

Color Boost (7-12 months) $300
Color Boost (12-18 months) $350
Color Boost (18-24 months) $450

COLOR CORRECTION NEW CLIENT ($100 additional)

COVER UP/COLOR CORRECTION BROWS

Clients that have been previously tattooed or microbladed are considered a brand new set of brows and will be charged as a new set due to it usually taking an extra amount of time with color correction and mapping involved, etc.

Prior to booking, please send a clear, unfiltered picture of your brows so we can approve that your service can be performed. We need to make sure that we can work with your existing shape and that the color is not too dark and over saturated. If they are, we may recommend removal or simply wait and let them fade out more. We do not want to over saturate the skin with pigment.

Most color corrections will need two sessions, ( the initial session and then a touch up 8-10 weeks later).

Please know that new clients requesting touch ups will be considered a new, full set of brows since the appointment usually takes an extra amount of time with color correction and mapping involved, etc.

If you had previous permanent makeup done elsewhere and you are requesting a touch up, please email a photo of the existing tattoo so the artist can evaluate the shape and saturation of the existing pigment and approve your appointment request beforehand.

Important Treatment Information

Preparing For Our Appointment – IMPORTANT INFORMATION

*Arrive for your appointment as you usually wear your makeup on a daily basis. We like to see your style and what you are used to seeing in the mirror everyday.

*You cannot get permanent makeup done if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

* If you are under doctor’s care for any medical conditions or have uncontrolled diabetes or autoimmune disorders, you must discuss with your physician prior and obtain written consent to have the procedure done.

*Clients must be off Accutane or any prescribed acne medications for a minimum for 1 year. No exceptions to this rule!

*Clients must not use any brow hair growth serums or products for a minimum of 45 days prior and at least one month after the procedure is done.

*Clients must not take Aspirin, Fish Oil, Niacin, Vitamin E, Ibuprofen or any blood thinners for 48 hours prior to appointment. Tylenol is fine.

*No alcohol or energizing drinks 24 hours prior to procedure in order to minimize bleeding during the procedure.

*No caffeine the day of the procedure.

*Any brow tinting should be done 2 weeks prior and 1 month after procedure

*Skin should not be in a compromised state before the procedure. No tanning or over exposure to the sun at least 2-3 weeks prior to procedure.

*Eyebrow waxing or threading should be done at least 2 weeks prior to the procedure and then wait for a minimum of two weeks after.

* Clients must not have had any chemical peels, micro dermabrasion, mesotherapy, or any other intense treatments 3-4 weeks prior to procedure.

* It is a good idea for the client to wash their hair on the day of the procedure in order to limit time in shower and to help keep the brows dry during the healing period.

* Botox should be done 2 weeks prior (or better yet 2 weeks after) so that the botox has time to settle

*Allergies to Lidocaine, prilocaine, benzocaine, tetracaine or epinephrine. Procedure can still be performed but would obviously experience more discomfort.

*Must discontinue using retinoids or retinol a minimum of 12 weeks before getting brows done

Post-Care Treatment
  • Following your aftercare instructions is very important for the best results and longevity.

  • To prevent any infection, you will want to keep your brows clean and free of bacteria for the first 7-10 days.

  • Refrain from any physical activities that cause sweating for 7-10 days.

  • You want to gently cleanse your brows with a mild cleanser twice a day, morning and night, starting the first night. After cleansing, rinse them, blot them dry with either gauze or a paper towel folded in a square and add a tiny bit of the healing ointment. The ointment will be provided to you by us.

  • Be extra careful with cleansing during the peeling or exfoliating period. Never use any cotton balls or Q-tips as they may catch on the exfoliating skin and pull it off prematurely, which will pull the pigment out and leave a bald patch.

  • We advise you to apply an ice pack to the area in the evening and take ibuprofen once the numbing wears away. Other than cleansing the area, you will want to keep your eyebrows as dry as possible for the same period.

  • I provide cleanser, healing ointment and protective visors for the shower for when you shampoo your hair. Do not stand under the water in the shower or take long hot steamy showers. Do not sleep on your brows during the healing period and put a new pillowcase on your pillow.

Beware & Caution
  • When selecting your PMU artist, take caution and due diligence before making your final decision.

There are no license or educational requirements in Pennsylvania to practice permanent makeup, which means many unqualified and untrained ‘experts’ call themselves PMU artists. Under these circumstances, it is easy to be scammed and promised fake results.

The State Board of Cosmetology does not regulate permanent makeup or cosmetic tattooing. Therefore, hair salons and nail salons are not permitted to perform PMU on their premises.

I am a member of the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals (SPCP) and I adhere to excellent safety standards specific to the permanent cosmetic process within the industry. All my treatments are performed in a clean, safe and sterile manner.

Every professional PMU artist should have a current Bloodborne Pathogen Certification displayed in their studio and have the correct insurance.

When choosing your artist, always ask to see healed work, seek referrals, or read their reviews. However, many unqualified artists take photos from the internet to pass as their own, so be careful. After all, it is your face they are working on.

Around 90% of my business is through client referrals, so I can assure you that you can be confident knowing you will be in good hands.
